Getting started
How long does a first draft usually take?
Most people reach a first draft in about thirty to forty five minutes. Paste an existing resume or LinkedIn export if you would rather begin by refining.
Is there anything to install?
No. ResumeHere.com runs in your browser, with nothing to download. Your work saves as you type.
Does it work on a phone?
Reading, reviewing, and small edits work comfortably on a phone. A tablet or laptop is the better setting for the editor and its live PDF preview.
Writing and editing
Does the product write everything for me?
No. It helps rewrite selected bullets, sharpen verbs, find cleaner phrasing, and identify dead lines. It will not invent jobs, metrics, or skills you do not have.
Will my resume sound like everyone else’s?
It should not. Suggestions stay within the bullets you accept and the structure you choose. You remain the author; the tools are there to loosen writer’s block, not replace your voice.
Can I write in another language?
Yes. The editor works in any language, and languages can be mixed on one resume when a role calls for it.
Applications and ATS
Will the output work with ATS software?
Yes. The resume renders as clean text and avoids parser confusing tricks: no text baked into images, no two column ordering problems, and no obscure fonts.
What does the ATS score measure?
Paste a job description and ResumeHere.com compares your resume across keywords, phrasing, and structure, then offers specific suggestions you may use or ignore.
Does it submit applications automatically?
No. The tracker helps you log and follow up on roles you apply to yourself; it never auto submits applications.
Account, data, and billing
Where is my information stored?
In our managed database, encrypted at rest. The security page has the longer explanation.
Are resumes used to train models?
No. Resume content is not used to train an external model or shared with third parties for that purpose.
How do I remove my account?
Use the single deletion button in account settings. It permanently removes resumes, cover letters, references, tracker history, and the account record.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Cancel in one click from account settings. Documents remain read only after cancellation so you do not lose them.
Are refunds available?
Every account includes a 2 day free trial. Cancel before it ends and there is no charge. After the trial, monthly charges are not refunded, while cancellation stops future billing immediately.
Is there help for students or career changers?
